Nizamabad: Composite Nizamabad district election observer for the Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC) and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) elections, Abhilash Bisth, said that the district election officers should take steps to provide tents and first aid at polling stations during the elections.
In view of the summer heat in Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts, tents should be provided along with ORS packets, and drinking water at polling stations for the safety of voters, Abhilash Bisth said.
Speaking at the training programme for micro observers of the ZPTC/MPTC elections on Wednesday, Abhilash Bisth said that micro observers will play key role during polling.
Observation by micro observers will make the polling process perfect.
Earlier, randomisation of polling personnel was conducted at National Informatics Centre in the presence of Nizamabad and Kamareddy district election officers M. Rammohan Rao and N. Satyanarayana.
