Hyderabad: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said on Wednesday criticised the Shiv Sena for seeking a ban on burqa and stated that such a ban would violate people’s fundamental right.

“What did the accused like Sadhiv Pragya Thakur and others in Malegaon and Ajmer blast wear? Why single out burqa?” he said, asking the EC to act against the Sena.
