Hyderabad: The last date for the regularisation of unauthorised layouts under the State Government’s Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) was on Wednesday extended till May 31. However, new applications will no longer be accepted. The previous deadline for the processing of applications under the LRS and the payment of fees by applicants was April 30.
A large number of applications have been received from people wishing to have their constructions regularised. Officers of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, the Hyderabad Metropo-litan Development Authority, the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority and other urban local bodies have been scrutinising these applications and issuing intimations to applicants for the payment of pending charges and the submission of missing documents.
