Tirupati: TTD executive officer Anil Kumar Singhal directed TTD forest and fire services officials to take effective and adequate measures to contain forest fires in the TTD forests during this summer season.
Addressing a review meeting of senior TTD officials in the TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Monday, the EO asked officials to take all precautionary and preventive measures to arrest the spread of forest fires. “Extend the fire lines to stop spread of the forest fires,” he instructed DFO Phani Kumar Naidu.
Later instructing him to commence planting of sapling in the third phase of the Ring Road at Tirumala, the EO asked the officials to coordinate works and keep a constant supply of water.
