Galla Jayadev accuses YSRC MLAs of blocking development
Guntur: Guntur MP and Telugu Desam candidate Galla Jayadev on Monday alleged that the MLAs representing Guntur East, West and Prathipadu segments had been hurdles in the development of their constituencies in the past five years.
Campaigning in the various areas of Guntur city on Monday with former MLA Vangaveeti Radhakrishna and Guntur East TD aspirant Sk Naseer, Mr Jayadev alleged that the government sanctioned funds for the development of three Assembly constituencies but YSRC legislators Md. Mustafa, Modugula Venugopala Reddy and Ravela Kishore Babu indulged in corruption and irregularities without bringing development to the three segments.
Mr Jayadev claimed that TD fought relentlessly for the rights of the state like Special Category Status and fulfilment of bifurcation promises and never flinched from the battlefield unlike YSRC that never questioned the NDA government or Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the state’s Constitutional rights.
The MP alleged that YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy surrendered in front of the BJP to get relief from CBI cases. He appealed to the public to return the TD to power so that it can develop Guntur city on par with Amaravati.
TD Guntur East Assembly candidate Sk. Naseer alleged that Mr Mustafa never worked for the development of the constituency hence it remained backward.
Mr Radhakrishna said that the TD was working tirelessly for the development of the state and asked the public to get the state rid of the YSRC.
