Chennai: A notorious rowdy of Chennai had a taste of near death as a 5-member gang attacked him with knives in daylight. Harikrishnan, who has murder cases pending, was talking to his friend when a 5-member gang chased him with knives on Saturday evening. However, Harikrishnan escaped with injuries even as local residents chased the gang.
A video of the scene circulated in social media showed the gang escaping in their two-wheelers. Harikrishnan was allegedly involved in the murder of Babloo, another rowdy. The murder bid might have been a ramification of the Babloo murder, the police said. A case has been registered and the investigation is on.
