Bengaluru: The week long 10th edition of Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFes) concluded here on Thursday with renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam getting an award for lifetime achievement. According to BIFFes organizers at least 3 lakh movie enthusiasts watched nearly 200 movies screened at the event. After being felicitated.
Other awardees include: Excavator (Best Asiatic Film Netpac award), Raajakumara (best film Kannada popular entertainment), Bharjari (second) and Ondu Motteya Kathe (third). Kannada competition – Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy award best film (Reservation); second best (Mudalaseemeyali) and third best (Allama). Netpac international jury award for Kannada film (Beti), Indian competition – Chitra Bharathi award best film (Mayurakshi), special jury award (Ishu) and P.K. Nayar memorial award (To-Let)
