Bengaluru: School children ran away fearing parents' wrath

The three missing boys were finally traced in Hyderabad.

Bengaluru: Three school children who had gone missing on Wednesday in Baiyappanahalli police station limits, were found in Hyderabad on Thursday morning. They had left the house fearing the upcoming parent-teachers meeting in their school.

The three boys were studying in class seven at National Centre For Excellence School in C.V. Raman Nagar. After school hours, the trio went missing and their parents lodged a missing complaint with the Baiyappanahalli police. According to the police, their class teacher had announced a parent-teacher meeting on Saturday.

As their performance in the class tests was average, their teachers were not happy and had told that they will bring it to the notice of their parents during the parent-teachers meeting.

Fearing parents’ wrath, they decided to run away and right after school, the three went to Majestic Bus Stand and boarded a private bus to Hyderabad.

The three reached the Hyderabad on Thursday morning. The bus crew grew suspicious and questioned them. One of them broke down and revealed everything. They immediately informed the local police in Hyederabad, who contacted Baiyappanahalli police. The police said that a team has been sent to Hyderabad to bring them back.
