Hyderabad: Bar bids farewell to Justice Afzulpurkar

After the traditional farewell in the court, Justice Afzulpurkar was felicitated by advocates of the High Court.

Hyderabad: The Bar and Bench of the Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday bid farewell to Justice Vilas V. Afzulpurkar who retired after serving 32 years as an advocate and more than eight years as judge of the court. All judges and the advocates who met at court hall of the Chief Justice in the afternoon for a farewell function recalled his services rendered to judiciary.

Justice Afzulpurkar started his career as an advocate of the High Court after obtaining law degree from MP Law College in Aurangabad of Maharashtra state in 1976. He was elevated as additional judge in August, 2008 and became a permanent judge in January 2010. After the traditional farewell in the court, Justice Afzulpurkar was felicitated by advocates of the High Court.
