200 families avail Kanti Velugu eye check up organised by Telangana NGOs

HYDERABAD: About 200 families availed of the Kanti Velugu eye check programme that the Telangana NGOs Union organised at its office at Gruhakalpa, Nampally, on Thursday. Ministers Mohd Mahmood Ali and V. Srinivas Goud inaugurated the camp.

Mahmood Ali said Kanti Velugu was a unique programme being conducted by the state government and urged the people to avail the opportunity. Srinivas Goud said, “The employees’ sight should be sharp so that the government files will move faster.”

TNGOs Union president Dr Syed Majedullah Hussaini (Mujeeb), said the camp had been organised as non-gazetted officials would be left with little time to take part in Kanti Velugu. He thanked Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for introducing Kanti Velugu.
