KOZHIKODE: As a helping hand for the students appearing for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination, district panchayat has come forward with an education mobile application named ‘Edumia’. The mobile application has been designed in such a way that it could be operated under the guidance of both teachers and parents.
Video classes, exam tips, exam models, sample question papers are what that this mobile application offers to its user.
“This is our one step towards helping the public education sector,” said district panchayat president Babu Parassery. Tips from teachers would be another highlight of the app. All the 178 educational institutions under district panchayat will be provided with the service of the mobile application.
All the forty four government schools will be provided with the service. Schools can register through app.kozhikodedde.com, appeducareonline.com websites to avail the service.
Every school will have one teacher to coordinate the activities of the mobile application. The tips from the app will be sent to mobile phones of the parents which can be later used by the students.
In addition to this, district panchayat had also envisaged training programme for students to ward off examination tension and also know more about the proper nutrition required for the body which also plays key role in the performance of the student.
