THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan on Monday accused the Congress of stooping to the level of conspiring to register case of sexual harassment against its own legislator.
“Saritha has supported her statement with ample evidence including CD containing the audio clip of conversation between Saritha and Congress leaders including Benny Behnan MLA. The evidence is sufficient to prove the allegations," he added.
Mr Achuthanandan said the conspiracy against Abdullakutty was hatched to divert people's attention from the solar fraud in which prominent Congress leaders including Oommen Chandy and legislators names figure.
“If Chandy and KPCC president V M Sudheeran have an iota of shame left, they should respond to the serious allegations. People of the state have the right to know their stand,” he said.
