Police said that he was getting down from the car when a tree from the nearby forest fell on him

Mangaluru: A software engineer died after a tree fell on him near Shiradi Ghat on Sunday morning.
Suresh Navada (43), an employee of a Software company in Bengaluru along with his two children and wife had come to his mother’s house at Pavanje near Mangaluru on December 23. On Sunday morning the family was on their way back to Bengaluru.
Suresh stopped the car at Addahole near Shiradi Ghat after hearing some sound in the car.
Police said that he was getting down from the car when a tree from the nearby forest fell on him. He fell and died on the spot. His wife and both the children are safe and have not sustained any injury.
Uppinangady Police have registered a case.
