Bengaluru: DyCM Dr G. Parameshwar opened the proverbial Pandora’s box by announcing on Tuesday that the controversial proposal for a steel bridge between Chalukya Circle and Esteem Mall on the way to Kempegowda International Airport will be revisited and reexamined. After meeting bureaucrats from BBMP, BDA and other agencies on Tuesday, he said a fresh Detailed Project Report will be put forth to get people’s response.
The Rs 1,856 crore project was shelved during ex-CM Siddaramaiah’s tenure after protests and a rap from the National Green Tribunal for failing to get environment assessment done.
