Hyderabad: Telangana DGP M. Mahender Reddy on Monday launched the ‘TS COP’ mobile application. The app, designed for the use of police, is a comprehensive mobile app can which improves standards of policing and eases access to critical information anytime and anywhere. The app is designed to cater the requirements of personnel at all levels especially at field level. Integrated with 54 services, the app will first be launched in the Cyberabad and Rachakonda Police Commissionerates and later introduced other Commissionerates and districts units. The services offered through the app are divided into eight categories. They include emergency response, crime prevention, detection, investigation, court related and traffic related options.
This app comes handy on blue colts and patro cars duty as it gives a cop access to the details of hot spots for a particular crime, various trends and the location of the CCTV cameras as well.
