Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD)
Tirupati: January 1 was not a special day for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
The day passed by just like any other day. There were no special decorations. However, the arrangements for the Vaikunta Ekadasi continued. The rush too seemed like any other normal day.
After the usual Dhanurmasam Kainkaryams which commenced with the Tiruppavai on Monday, the Sarva Darshan for common devotees commenced by 2.30 am and lasted up to 5.30 am. After the Naivedyam break, the VIP break commenced and it was limited to only proto-col VIPs.
Again the Sarva Darshan continued without any break. But the TTD had cancelled Divya Darshan tokens, and other Arjitha Sevas.
