Hyderabad: A petition has been moved before the Hyderabad High Court challenging the action of the AP government in accommodating film producers D. Suresh Babu and C. Kalyan in a committee set up to fix cinema ticket rates.
Mr G. Narasimha Rao, the president of Cine Prekshakula Viniyogadarula Sangh-am, moved the plea challenging the GO Ms No 44 issued by the AP government appointing both the producers.
He contended that with the accommodation of the producers in the panel could infringe upon the rights of the cinema viewers.
