Telangana: Jobs panel checks out teacher rules
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Public Service Commission will be releasing the notification for gurukul teachers vacancies once it gets clarity on new syllabus and recruitment process.
There are over 6,000 vacancies for teaching posts in BC welfare, social welfare, tribal welfare, minority and gurukul schools.
Commission officials have consulted with the government on the recruitment in view of the decision to remove the zonal system for government postings. These teaching jobs used to be under the zonal category.
The commission has been entrusted with the job of recruiting, which was earlier done through the district selection committee exams.
The commission is likely to release notification for recruitment of nearly 2500 posts in the next two to three months.
