Pampa: The prohibitory orders existing at Sabarimala and surrounding areas have been extended for four more days by the Pathanamthitta district collector.
The orders which were initially imposed on November 3 under section 144 bans the assembly of more than four people in areas like Nilakkal, Pampa and Elavungal.
Earlier, the police had told collector P.B. Nooh that the ban should be extended till January 14 when the temple closes after the Makaravilakku season.
Meanwhile, Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran is set to hold a review meeting at Sannidanam on Saturday.
