The school bus carrying 40 students from Gogulapadu to Dachepalli rolled over at Allugumillupadu of Guntur district on Wednesday.
VIJAYAWADA: Five students were injured after the school bus in which they were travelling overturned near Dachepalli in Guntur district on Wednesday.
According to the reports, the gear rod of Geeta Gurukulam School got stuck when the bus was on way to the school with students and after sometime, it overturned.
The villagers nearby rushed to the spot, rescued the students, a majority of whom were studying Classes VI and VII. Dachepalli SI Sk Md Rafi said that the gear rod got stuck when the bus reached Alugumillupadu village in Dachepalli mandal. The injured were shifted to private hospitals in Dachepalli.
