Hyderabad: Mr Patnam Mahender Reddy, transport minister, on Tuesday announced Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia to the families of the deceased persons who died in a road accident in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri on Monday evening when an RTC bus hit an auto-rickshaw. Five persons died in the mishap and four others sustained serious injuries. They are undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital.
The minister who was at the Gandhi Hospital announced Rs 10,000 financial assistance for medication.
The minister later held a meeting with RTC officials and directed them to conduct a probe.
