Hyderabad: A landlord from Venkatapuram recently tweeted to Minister K.T. Rama Rao, “My house has been illegally occupied and vandalised; rent has not been paid for the past five months by P.D. Raj. I heard you are supporting him.”
The Minister not only replied to him saying, “I don’t support such illegal activities, Kulkarni Ji,” but also forwarded the matter to the Hyderabad Police.
The Minister asked the Hyderabad Police to register a complaint, and the department followed up by asking the complainant for additional details.
The landlord alleged that he was being threatened by local TRS leaders. He was trolled by Twitter users for dragging the Minister into the matter.
“In the past six months, we have rea-ched out to every office, every authority and the police, but we are suffering,” he responded.
After receiving help from the minister, the man apologised for his allegations.
