Hyderabad: The celebrated Murra bull Yuvaraj’s offspring, Maharaj, that has been brought up in the city, will be available for the next Sadar festival.

The owner of Yuvaraj, Mr Karam Veer Singh from Haryana, had gifted the bull, which was initially named Dhara Bull, to Mr Edla Hari Babu Yadav, a resident of Ramnagar.

Mr Hari Babu Yadav, who has been regularly renting out Yuvaraj from Mr Karam Veer, planned to adopt a similar bull last year. As he expressed his interest to Mr Karam Singh, he gifted him the bull, which was later named Telangana Maharaj.

On Monday Maharaj was displayed at Sadar events held at Chintal Basti, Yellareddyguda, Saidabad and a few other places.

Mr Yadav said that the value of Maharaj had gone up to Rs 10 crore and it would participate in competitions from next year.
