4 SIMI men were trained in Uttar Pradesh

SP Bijnore, Ajay Kumar Sahni, said a case of sedition and other serious charges were pending against them.

Lucknow: Four of the eight Simi activists, killed in Bhopal after their alleged jail break on Monday, had learned bomb making in Bijnore district in Uttar Pradesh. The four terrorists, then, had escaped after an accidental explosion that took place in a house in Jatan colony in September 2014.

The six persons living in the house where the explosion took place were identified as Aslam, Ejaz, Zakir, Amjad, Sallu and Mehboob, who was reportedly injured in the incident.

While Aslam and Ejaz were killed in an encounter in Telangana on April 3, 2015, Zakir, Amjad, Sallu and Mehboob were killed this morning by MP Police near Bhopal. SP Bijnore, Ajay Kumar Sahni, said a case of sedition and other serious charges were pending against them.
