Telangana Vidyarthi Vedika releases manifesto'

The government had not taken a single step towards implementing KG to PG free education, the TVV alleged.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Vidyarthi Vedika (TVV) released a 'student manifesto’ on Sunday, alleging that the state government had not accomplished the agenda set by the TRS manifesto for the 2014 elections.

The TVV alleged that the state government had not taken up the responsibility of filing cases on the death of students in private institutions. The government had not taken a single step towards implementing KG to PG free education, the TVV members alleged.

TVV general secretary Menchu Sandeep, said, “In the name of rationalisation. the TRS government is taking education away for suppressed groups by shutting down government schools and colleges. The government has privatised education. We demand that our student manifesto should be included by all parties in their manifesto. We appeal to the people to read the manifesto and question the political parties with regard to free education and unemployment.”
