Kerala: Feeder services to start on Tuesday
Kochi: The regular feeder services will start functioning from all the 16 stations along with the launch of the metro services in the 18-km Aluva-Maharaja’s stretch on Tuesday.
“The routes have been identified and the stickers containing the logo have been handed over to the drivers who formed part of the society. The KMRL have equipped 100 autorickshaws with GPS machines while 300 more vehicles soon be added to the fleet,” said Adv T.B. Mini, member of the District Autorickshaw Union Co-ordination Committee and the Trade Union Congress state secretary.
“Commuters can avail of the mini-bus services from Aluva, Kalamassery, Edappaly and Palarivattom from 7.30 am to 10.30 am and from 4.30 pm to 8 pm. The Kochi One smartcards will be accepted in the feeder vans,” a metro spokesperson said.
