Will implement APAT orders, assures Telangana government
Hyderabad: The TS government on Friday assured the Hyderabad High Court that it will implement and honour the orders passed by the AP Administrative Tribunal till September 15, 2016 with regard to service matters of TS employees.
TS A-G K. Ramakrishna Reddy gave the assurance to a division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice U. Durga Prasad Rao.
The bench was hearing three separate petitions moved by advocates P.V. Krishnaiah and B. Kiran Kumar, and another, challenging the notification issued on September 15, 2016 deleting TS from the jurisdiction of the APAT.
When the bench was about to reserve orders, K. Lakshmi Narasimha, counsel appearing for Mr Kiran Kumar, complained that the government has not been honouring orders passed by the APAT in view of TS being deleted from its jurisdiction.
He urged the court to grant an interim direction to the government to honour the orders of the Tribunal.
When the bench sought reaction from the A-G, while giving the assurance, he placed a copy of the Ordinance issued on Thursday transferring the cases from the Tribunal to the High Court.
