Saffron not my colour: Actor Kamal Hasaan plans to make debut in politics

Chennai: Actor turned filmmaker Kamal Hasaan is planning to join politics. Kamal Hasaan on Friday said he has been talking to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and is also meeting other political leaders before making a final call.
Clearing out all the air of joining any particular party, Kamal Hasaan said, "My colour is obviously seen over the 40 years. I have been working in cinema, definitely it's not saffron."
The actor further said that he wants to be in the middle of things and does not want to lean on any side.
