Hyderabad: The High Court on Thursday granted anticipatory bail to Warangal DCC president N. Rajender Reddy in the murder case of corporator Murali.
Justice T. Sunil Chowdary granted the bail while allowing the anticipatory bail application of Rajender Reddy.
The petitioner informed the court that the police had named him as an accused on July 13 based on the confession of another accused.
He said the police had no other material evidence against him. He claimed he was booked booked due to political rivalry.
While considering the contentions of the petitioner, the judge granted bail to Rajender Reddy.
