President Ram Nath Kovind visits Tirupati today

The Governor along with the Chief Minister will receive the president on behalf of the government.

TIRUPATI: President of India Mr Ram Nath Kovind will visit Tirupati tomorrow A two days itenary has been planned for his visit to Tirupati and Tirumala. The Governor along with the Chief Minister will receive the president on behalf of the government. Mr Kovind will visit Tiruchanoor temple after his arrival, followed by the inauguration of Padmavathi Medical College Hospital Building. He will inaugurate some other projects before being felicitated by the government of Andhra Pradesh. Later, a dinner will be arranged by the chief minister at Shilparamam.

After dinner the president will leave to Tirumala and will have Darshan of Lord Venkateswara on Saturday. Collector has ordered the Municipal Corporation to keep the city clean. Security arrangements are done. Tirupati urban SP Abhishek Mohanty said, "Security arrangements have been made for the visit of the president. Traffic diversions have also been made in the city and we have deployed additional force from Anantapur, Chittoor and Cuddapah districts.”
