Hyderabad: A 34-year-old DRDO scientist hanged himself to death at his residence in Nallakunta police station area.
Police said he wrote a suicide note giving the reason as his eye problem that he was suffering since a long time.
The deceased, identified as Chandrakanth, committed suicide on Tuesday night. Nallakunta police said he hailed from Guntur district and had recently undergone surgery.
Investigations reve-aled that Chandr-akanth had also failed in getting a suitable bride and was depressed due to that.
“Chandrakanth and his brother shifted to Nallakunta from DRDO quarters two months back,” said inspector V. Yadagiri Reddy.
Based on a complaint filed by the dead man’s brother, police booked a case under Section 174 (suspicious death) of CrPC.
