Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam temple gets set
Vijayawada: The idol of the replica temple of Lord Venkateswara constructed at PWD grounds in Vijayawada will be coming on August 5t from Hyderabad.
The replica temple constructed to mark Krishna Pushkaralu will be inaugurated on August 7 after performing agama rituals to the idol of Lord Venkateswara, which is specially made in Hyderabad for the replica temple.
Inspecting the works of the replica temple on Sunday, TTD executive officer D. Sambasiva Rao said that a special exhibition will be held for the devotees at the temple from August 11. The exhibition will have rare photos alongside the spiritual books and a spiritual museum.
The EO instructed officials of the electrical and the garden wings to come out with attractive display models for the auspicious occasion.
The model temple is being built on 4.8 acres, having a width of 82 feet and height of 130 feet. The estimated cost of building the temple is said to be Rs 3 crore and a total of Rs 7.50 crore will be spent for the prasadam and other expences.
TTD will distribute pocket photos of Lord Venkateswara to the devotees who visit the replica temple at PWD grounds. To manage the crowd in the temple, four queue lines are being arranged, which will enable the devotees to have quick darshan.
The Dasa Bhajana by the Hindhu Dharma Prachara Parishad round-the-clock will be another highlight and prasadams of laddu, chakkara pongali, pulihora will be distributed with annadanam for one lakh people a day. In terms of security, CCTV cameras will be installed at the temple.
