Hyderabad: Security has been beefed up for the main Bonalu procession at the Lal Darwaza in the Old City. The police has set up pickets throughout the procession route. The city police and TSSP men have been deployed to guard all processions in the area.
Traffic restrictions will be in place from 12 am to 10 pm. Traffic from Kandikalgate will not be allowed towards Lal Darwaza and will be diverted at the Chatrinaka police station junction towards Gowlipura.
Traffic from Phoolbagh towards Lal Darwaza will be diverted at Pather-ki-Darga towards the old ACP office of Chatrinaka.
Traffic from Balagunj will be diverted at Balagunj towards Gowlipura. Traffic from Gowlipura Market towards Sudha Talkies will be diverted at the library towards Ashoka Pillar cross roads.
Traffic from Meer-ka-Daira and Moghalpura will not be allowed towards Shalibanda and will be diverted at Hari-Bowli cross roads.
Traffic from Uppuguda and Chatrinaka will be diverted towards Moghalpura PS at Gowlipura cross roads.
Traffic from Chandrayangutta towards Aliyabad will be diverted at new Shamsheergunj junction towards Tadban via Almas Hotel (Jahanuma).
Traffic from Bhavani Nagar and Mirjumla Talab will not be allowed towards Charminar and will be diverted at Bibi Bazaar cross roads towards Alijah Kotla (Miralam Mandi road).
Traffic from Moghalpura towards Charminar will be diverted towards Alijah Kotla via Chowk Maidan Khan at Fire Station, Moghalpura.
Traffic from Yakutpura towards Gulzar House will be diverted towards Mir Alam Mandi Road at Eitebar Chowk mosque.
Traffic from Purani Haveli and Mandi Road towards Chatta Bazaar will be diverted at Lakkad Kote X Roads towards Dar-ul- Shifa.
Traffic from Fateh Darwaza will not be allowed towards Himmatpura cross roads and will be diverted at Volga Hotel towards Khilwat.
Traffic from Puranapul towards Laad Bazaar will be diverted at Motigalli towards Shahgunj or Chelapura.
Traffic from Khilwat towards Laad Bazaar will be diverted at Motigalli junction towards Chowk Mosque.
Traffic from Shakkar Kote will be diverted at Mitti ka Sher towards Ghansi Bazaar.
Traffic from Puranapul and Mehboob ki Mehendi towards Nayapool will be diverted at Muslim Jung Bridge.
Traffic from Chaderghat, Noor Khan Bazaar and Darul Shifa will not be allowed towards Nayapool and will be diverted at Dar-ul-Shifa, towards Gowliguda and Afzalgunj.
Traffic from Gowliguda and Siddiamber Bazaar towards Nayapool will be diverted at Afzalgunj cross roads towards Muslim Jung bridge via Osmania GH Road along the Musi River.
The road between Madina cross roads and Engine Bowli, Jahanuma, will be closed to all traffic.
