Hyderabad: Excise minister V. Srinivas Goud has challans amounting to Rs 46,000 pending for violation of rules by his wheeler. The vehicle, a Toyota Fortuner is registered under the name Srinivas Gour Virusanolla.
The vehicle was registered in 2016 and allotted registration number TS 06 EL 6666. Since its registration, not challan has been cleared. From 2016 to 2019 a total of 41 challans were issued.
Most of the challans were issued for over speeding, dangerous driving, using tinted glass and unauthorised parking. The challas were issued under jurisdiction of Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda commissionerates.
Meanwhile , principal chief conservator of forest, Telangana state, has 14 challans pending to be cleared. Some of the challans on his vehicle with registration number TS 09 EH 4553 date back to 2016. The total amount to be cleared is Rs 11,955. Most of these challans were issued for over-speeding.
