Hyderabad: Biker killed after speeding car hits him

Hyderabad: A 41-year-old man, who was on his way from Begumpet to Banjara Hills on a two-wheeler, died after a car hit him on Punjagutta flyover on Saturday night. Passers-by rushed him to Osmania Hospital after the man, identified as Tajuddin, fell off the flyover because of the impact, but doctors declared him brought dead.

According to the FIR filed by the police, Tajuddin was a resident of Qutub Shahi Tombs area. He used to work as a cab driver for IT firms. On Saturday night he went to Begumpet for some personal work on his two-wheeler and was returning home when the mishap took place.

As Tajuddin reached near Lalitha Jewellers, a speeding car hit him and he was thrown off the flyover.

Panjagutta police has registered a case under Section 304 (A) IPC (causing death by negligence) and is checking the CCTV footage to find whether it was a case of negligent driving. The car driver, identified as Ishan Hassan, is absconding.
