Hyderabad: Little rain, monsoon to stay subdued for now
The city is expected to receive a few showers of light intensity. For now, heavy rain is not indicated for the city.

Authorities maintain that unless there is heavy rainfall in the catchment area of Godavari, it will not get heavy inflow of water into it and even if there is heavy rainfall locally, its impact will not be felt much except inflow of water into the river from overflowing local streams and rivulets. Hyderabad: The city recorded trace amount of rainfall on Friday. Some parts of the state received light rain. The Indian Meteorological Department said the southwest monsoon would remain subdued over the state for the next three or four days.
The city is expected to receive a few showers of light intensity. For now, heavy rain is not indicated for the city.
The IMD said this was because of the absence of any significant weather system over the area. Till any major weather system develops over the AP coast and moves inland towards the state, there will be no improvement in the rain situation.
