Telugu Desam MPs blame KCR for Hyderabad HC row
Vijayawada: Accusing TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao of levelling baseless allegations on the judiciary, TD MPs Kesineni Srinivas and K. Narayana on Thursday said that the AP government has allotted land for the High Court in Amaravati.
The two TD MPs told the media here that if the Centre releases funds, the state would take up construction of the AP High Court building immediately.
“Officials from New Delhi came and inspected the location of the proposed High Court. KCR is only playing up the issue to cash in on regional sentiments,” the MPs said.
“KCR’s comments on appointment of judges show his lack of understanding of the situation. He is behaving like the head of a regional party instead of acting like the CM of a state,” the MPs said.
They added that if the controversy continues to brew, both the states will be at a loss. “We request KCR to stop raising unnecessary controversies and concentrate on administration like our CM,” the TD MPs said.
