TTD getting ready for Brahmotsavams in city
Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is gearing up for yet another mega religious event ‘Brahmotsavams’ to be observed for the first time at Sri Venkateswara temple, located at Himayath Nagar in Hyderabad.
TTD plans to conduct the annual brahmotsavams at Balaji Bhavan here in Hyderabad from June 9 to 13 with Ankurarpanam on June 8th and Dhwajarohanam on June 9 at 8.30 am.
The schedule of events during Brahmotsavams includes Sesha Vahanam on June 9, Hanumantha Vahanam on June 10. While Gaja Vahanam and Garuda Vahanam is slated to observe on June 11, the big event Rathotsavam will be observed on June 12 morning, followed by Aswa Vahanam at night.
Chakra Snanam will be performed on June 13, the final day, where Pushpa Yagam will be observed in the evening followed by Dwajavarohanam at night. Meanwhile, the Vedic pundits will perform Snapana Tirumanjanam on June 10. TTD has been making elaborated arrangements for the sake of devotees, who were expected to take part in the religious event in large.
