Adilabad: Major political parties are now focusing on winning the Zilla Parishad posts after the Lok Sabha results and are predicting the possible results in the local body elections.
The counting of votes of ZPTC elections are scheduled for June 4. Major political parties may shift their winning candidates to camps to keep the flock together.

News is making the rounds in political circles that former MLA Kova Laxmi who contested as ZPTC from Jainoor was unanimously elected despite facing allegations of kidnapping and forcing the other ZPTC candidates to withdraw their nominations.

Adivasi candidates who win as ZPTC and aspiring ZP chairman post are likely to face a stiff fight for the ZP chairman post of Adilabad from Lambada candidates.
