With unscientific construction of drains and beautification of the Warangal and Karimnagar under Smart City project, the roads were flooded with overflowing of water from the drains forcing people to walk through knee-deep waters in various colonies.

Mango, maize and chilli crops were worst affected with sudden unexpected rains causing a huge loss to farmers. It has become a daily routine for the past week for the farmers to dry their produce during the day time and protecting it from being drenched with heavy rainfall at night. They are also facing another problem of waiting at procurement centres without any proper facilities for the officials to purchase their produce.
