In view of the Cyclone Fani, the Kerala State Disaster Management Authority as advised fishermen not to venture into the sea until further notice.
Thiruvananthapuram: The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall on Wednesday in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam. Thrissur , Malappuram and Wayanad districts will receive light rainfall. However, the condition of the sea is likely to remain rough.
In view of the Cyclone Fani, the Kerala State Disaster Management Authority as advised fishermen not to venture into the sea until further notice. The authority has also advised the public to avoid hilly areas from 7 pm to 7 am.
