Development of AP, Telangana good: Tamil Nadu Governor
Rajahmundry: Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah on Sunday said the development of "Telugu states" Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is good but there is a need for their further development.
Rosaiah told reporters that AP and Telangana are competing with each other in terms of development. "Now, the development of Telugu states (AP and Telangana) is good and satisfactory and there is every need to develop further," he added.
Rajahmundry city MLA A Satyanarayana, Rajahmundry rural MLA G Bucthaiah Chowdary and other local leaders called on Rosaiah.
The Tamil Nadu Governor also visited Bhimavaram in West Godavari district and inaugurated the Sri Padmavathi Venkateswara Swamy 'Brahmotsavam '. He also offered special prayers to lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Padmavathi.
