Hyderabad: Man found murdered near college

The police registered a case of suspicious death and are making efforts to identify the victim.

Hyderabad: An unidentified body was found murdered near an engineering college in Chevella on Sunday. The deceased had multiple injuries on him that the police might have been caused by sticks and boulders.

The police registered a case of suspicious death and are making efforts to identify the victim.

At around 10 am on Sunday, the locals at Chevella noticed the body of a man lying in the bushes opposite to the Sagar Institute of Technology, an engineering college located at Maruthi Colony, and alerted the local police, who rushed to the spot along with Clues team and the dog squad.

Chevella inspector G. Guruvaih Goud said “The deceased man could be aged between 32 and 35. He had injuries on his face that were inflicted using sticks and boulders. The head of the man was smashed using a boulder at the place where the body was found.”
