Hyderabad: The entry ticket charges at Nehru Zoological Park have been enhanced from April 1.
The decision had been taken by the zoo’s governing board at its meeting on February 9. The main entrance fee for adults has been raised from Rs 30 to Rs 35, and for children from Rs 15 to Rs 20.
Entry fee for still camera has been increased from Rs 20 to Rs 25 and the fee of video camera has been increased to Rs 110.
Even the fees for battery-operated vehicles, fish aquarium, nocturnal animal house, Safari Park and Toy-Train ride have been enhanced by Rs 5. The zoo authorities have requested visitors to cooperate with it for implementing the orders issued with a view to conserving the wildlife.
