Tirupati: On the morning of the fourth day of the ongoing Brahmotsavam on Thursday, Lord Somaskanda Murthy took a celestial ride on Makara vahanam at the Kapileswara temple in Tirupati.

Makara vahanam symbolises power and strength reminding one about the Gajendra moksham episode as presented in the Bhagavatham.

Meanwhile, at the end of the day, the processional deity of Lord Kapileswara was taken out in a procession atop Sesha vahanam. The Lord was decked with dazzling jewels and clothes.
