Exam panic: Inter student hangs self in Hyderabad
A 16-yr-old first year MPC student of an Intermediate college in Wanaparthy committed suicide by hanging ahead of his exam on Tuesday night.
Hyderabad: A 16-year-old first year MPC student of an Intermediate college in Wanaparthy committed suicide by hanging ahead of his exam on Tuesday night.
Police said the deceased, Naveen, a native of Raikodaru village who lived in the college hostel, panicked and was tensed about the upcoming exams. He hanged himself in the hostel on Tuesday night, Wanaparthy police said.
“He had not been keeping well for the past few days which is why he had not prepared well for his exam held on Wednesday,” said Wanaparthy sub-inspector Naga Shekar Reddy.
His father visited him on the fateful day and was with him the entire day. However, later in the night he committed suicide. Based on a complaint, a case was booked and the body was sent for post-mortem.
