TRS government mulls Budget session from Feb 14

As the Budget is an Interim Budget there will not be any discussion or demands.

Hyderabad: A three-hour meeting between Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and working president K.T. Rama Rao raised speculation that Cabinet expansion was on its way.

Sources revealed that the state government was planning to hold the brief Budget session of the assembly soon after the three-day visit of the finance commission. It will be a four-day session and will take up the Panchayat Raj Bill and Telangana Goods and Service Tax Bill on the first day and present the Vote-On-Account Budget on the second day. The day after will be declared a holiday for members to study the Budget.

As the Budget is an Interim Budget there will not be any discussion or demands. A brief discussion could be allowed on the fourth day of the session.
