HD Kumaraswamy government will collapse soon: B S Yeddyurappa

Mr Yeddyurappa also pointed out that the state BJP had on the other hand, grown stronger with the support of two Independent MLAs.

Bengaluru: In the midst of reports of his party hobnobbing with the Janata Dal(S), state BJP president B S. Yeddyurappa claimed here on Thursday that the Kumaraswamy government would fall owing to the squabbling between the coalition partners.

“More than 20 MLAs have revolted against the state government and demanded the resignation of Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, who is struggling to present the budget. Congress leaders have raised their voices against him for not hearing their grievances", he said, addressing those in charge of the elections in the BJP, its conveners, district presidents and organising secretaries here in preparation for the coming Lok Sabha poll.

Mr Yeddyurappa also pointed out that the state BJP had on the other hand, grown stronger with the support of two Independent MLAs, which had taken its numbers to 106 in the state assembly.
