KAKINADA: Bhahujan Samaj Party state general secretary and BC Castes Joint Action Committee state convener Chollangi Venugopal on Sunday demanded the resignations of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and the state home minister N. China Rajjapa.
He said that they should own responsibility for the incidences of violence that erupted on the day of the Kapu garjana and resign.
Mr Venugopal said that Kapunadu leader Mudragada Padmanabham had been writing for past six months, but the Chief Minister could not give any statement of assurance to the Kapu leaders or the Kabu community.
He said that the BCs had appealed to the Chief Minister about a month ago not to give any promise to Kapu for including Kapus in BC list as it was against the Constitution and it will become harm BCs in the future.
Describing the CM as ‘incompetent’ Mr Venugopal said that Mr Naidu could not give any assurance to the people over the Kapunadu movement.
