Hyderabad: TD Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday said that his TS counterpart K. Chandrasekhar Rao was spreading lies due to his frustration after realizing that the TRS was on the losing side in GHMC polls.
During a teleconference with TD leaders on Sunday morning, Mr Naidu said that the TRS chief was becoming intolerant and desperate by the day during the GHMC polls. “This was the reason that he even spread lies that my wife Bhuvaneswari would vote for the TRS. It is nothing but falsehood,” he said.
The TRS, which failed to produce any result during its 19-month rule, is now being questioned by the people, he said, adding that Mr Rao has now resorted to talk ill about the work done by the TD during its earlier rule.
Mr Naidu told the TD leaders to be vigilant in the coming two days as the ruling TRS may resort to large scale manipulations, distribution of money and intimidation of TD sympathisers. He asked them to resist all such moves.
